It's a rough and choppy swim....

Hemwet from Thailand is first out of the water with a blistering 18:48! Clement Chow and Wille Loo of Singapore are next less than 40s behind!

Willie Loo injured his hip when he fell on the second lap, which affected his speed on the rest of the bike segment and the run...Clement Chow too also fell on the bike segment...

The race will be decided over the next 10km in very cool weather!

Winner! Nikko Huelgas of the Philippines, 2nd! Rikigoro Shinozuka of Malaysia...

Wille Loo of Singapore takes bronze!...

SEA Games triathlon: Singapore wins bronze in men's race...June 7, 2015

The Republic brought the bronze medal home during the SEA Games Men's Triathlon earlier on Sunday (Jun 7).

Singapore's Loo Chuan Rong finished with a timing of 2 hours 7 minutes and 1 second to claim the bronze medal. His compatriot Chow Sheng Ren finished 4th and narrowly missed out on a podium finish.

Phillipines' Nikko Bryan Huelgas and Malaysia's Rikigoro Shinozuka won the gold and silver medals for the event respectively. Huelgas timed 2:04.32, and Shinozuka came in almost a minute later, in 2:05.35.

The triathlon, which took place at East Coast Park, consisted of a 1.5km swim in open water, followed by a 40km cycle and a 10km run.
